I found these interesting info graphs about NBC’s recent performance ratings in comparison to last year. It seems the Today show, NBC Nightly News, Tonight Show and Late night have improved significantly and are currently in the number one spot for their category (in the 18-49 y/o demographic). NBC was in 4th place for a really long time so the fact that they were able to bounce back is a big deal. NBCU’s Chief Executive Steve Burke said “We are going into the upfronts ( TV industry’s annual ritual where networks preview their new shows for advertisers ) with positive momentum this year for the first time in a long time.” Here’s hoping this positive trend continues for NBC!
